This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to manage work-at-heights (WAH) activities safely and effectively. Topics include understanding WSH legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, and Singapore Standards for WAH. Learners will identify hazards, assess risks, and implement appropriate control measures. The course covers roles and responsibilities of stakeholders, fall prevention planning, and monitoring WAH risks. Participants will also gain hands-on experience in using and inspecting fall protection equipment and responding to fall emergencies to ensure a safe working environment.
The competency unit aims to equip the knowledge and skills in planning, supervising, assessing and managing of work at height.
The learning objectives are:
