This course focuses on performing work in confined space operations, providing participants with the essential knowledge and skills to work safely and effectively. It covers the responsibilities of both entrants and attendants in confined space settings, ensuring participants understand their roles in maintaining safety. The course includes hands-on training in using gas detection instruments to monitor the atmosphere, as well as procedures for responding to emergency situations. By the end of the course, learners will be well-prepared to handle confined space operations, ensuring safety and compliance with established protocols.

This course provides essential training in metal scaffolding works, focusing on the safe and effective construction of scaffolding systems. Participants will learn to carry out work preparation in line with Workplace Safety and Health legislation and organizational procedures. The course covers identifying scaffold components and performing the erection and dismantling of various scaffold types, including frame, tubular independent tied, modular, and tower scaffolds. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, students will gain the expertise needed to safely and efficiently execute metal scaffolding works in construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards
The Certificate in Generic Manufacturing Skills for the Process Industry equips participants with essential skills to excel in manufacturing environments. Through five comprehensive modules, learners will master workplace safety and health practices, effective teamwork, and the 5S workplace organization method. Participants will also gain hands-on experience in fitting works using tools and equipment, as well as performing basic maintenance tasks like parts replacement and site reinstatement. The registration for the class will close 3 working days before the course commencement date. For any special requests, kindly email to enquiries@ipi.org.sg.
The course confirmation notice will be provided to the contact person’s email at least 3 working days before the course commencement date. However, if the class is to be postponed/cancelled, we will update it via email at least 3 working days before the course commencement date.
For cancellation/deferment requests, kindly email to enquiries@ipi.org.sg. We regret to inform that we will be unable to cancel/defer the registration if the email request is not submitted within the stipulated date, unless valid reason is provided.

If you have an account in the previous e-learning platform, kindly use your last 4 characters of NRIC/FIN and use “1111” as the default (DDMM) for first time login. After successfully log in, kindly upload your profile photo and change your date of birth.

For new users creating an account in the system, please click on “Click here to sign up now” and select “Public Individual Learner” as your registration type. Complete the required information for account creation, and our team will process your request within 3 working days.
Once the request has been successfully submitted in the system, it will take 3 working days to be processed. However, for urgent matters, requests will be prioritized and handled on a case-by-case basis.
For trainees absent with a valid reason, please submit the supporting documents to enquiries@ipi.org.sg within 5 working days from the course start date. Our Service Quality team will review and process your request. Kindly note that waiver or transfer requests will not be considered for absences without a valid reason.
The following reasons are considered invalid for course fee waiver requests:
Trainee or driver forgot about the course date.
Trainee was not released by the operation team.
Trainee was on night shift the day before the course.
Trainee was unable to locate the course venue.
Trainee was on home leave.
Trainee has resigned from the company.
Kindly ensure trainees are informed and prepared to attend the scheduled course to avoid such situations.
– For trainees attending theory based lessons, please wear covered shoes and bring personal water bottle (for hydration)
– For trainees attending practical lessons, please ensure you are equipped with the following:
Protective Suit (Overall)
Safety Shoes
Cotton Gloves
Safety Helmet
Clear Goggles
Trainees without the required equipment will be denied entry to the class, and no refund of the course fee will be provided.
– The courses will be conducted at ASPRI Integrated Training Centre (AITC) located at 5D Jalan Papan, Singapore 619421.
Classes will commence at 8.30 am unless otherwise specified in the confirmation letter.
Please note that trainees arriving after 9.00 am may be denied entry to the class and no refund will be provided.
To ensure your participant gets the most out of the program, kindly ensure the trainees arrive at the training centre by 8:30 am. This allows sufficient time for registration and settling in before the course commences at 9:00 am.
Please note that missed content due to late arrival cannot be accommodated through makeup lessons, not meeting nationally accredited WSQ courses with minimum attendance requirement or assessment will result in immediate NYC for the course. Therefore, we seek your kind understanding that ASPRI-IPI is not liable if late arrival impacts the participant’s ability to successfully complete the course.
– Participants staying in ASPRI-Westlite Papan dormitory are eligible for up to 48 hours of training credits for yearly upgrading trainings.
With the training credits, participants can enjoy up to 90% subsidised course fee, making courses more affordable for workers staying in ASPRI-Westlite Papan dormitory
– The 48hrs credit will be generated based on the resident’s tenancy period with Westlite Papan dormitory. For clarity, you may refer to the list of examples below;
Tenancy Period: 1 January 2025 – 31 December 2025
Credit Hours Entitlement: 12 months x 4 credits/month = 48 hrs
Tenancy Period: 1 January 2025 – 30 June 2025
Credit Hours Entitlement: 6 months x 4 credits/month = 24 hrs
We regret to inform that the 48 hrs credit entitlement is only applicable to Westlite Papan dormitory residents. Therefore, residents residing in other Westlite dormitories will not be eligible for the 48hrs credit entitlement.

The 48 hr credit entitlement must be utilized within the current tenancy period. We regret to inform that unused credits cannot be carried forward, in whole or in part, to the next tenancy period. Failure to use the credit hours before the end of the tenancy period will result in forfeiture of the entitlement for that tenancy period.
Residents are encouraged to plan and utilize their credit hours within the tenancy period to avoid any loss.
